The NML-C astronomy flashlight v2 model now turns onto the red COB light low setting first, offering a soft red glow without cycling through any white lights, interfering with your night vision.

Some other new improvements include the 60% increase in battery capacity, now supporting a long 72 hour runtime on low with reduced battery display brightness for improved astro night vision support.

Designed for astronomers, the NML-C offers two lighting outputs, a twin LED flashlight and dual coloured red or white COB light output. Both the flashlight and COB light incorporates full brightness adjustment control, ideal for astronomers and night vision support.

Integrated with a 270° rotating arm, this flashlight is feature packed with a magnet and hook to facilitate with placement for that perfect light direction and USB output, allowing you to provide additional charge or power to your USB products such as a smart phone, drone or USB lens heater.

NML-C is is inspired from the star NML Cygni, a red hypergiant from the Cygnus constellation. NML Cygni is approximately 2700 times bigger than our sun and is one of the largest and luminous stars in the milky way.

Polycarbonate and thermoplastic rubber

Locate and remove the USB-C input rubber cover at the top of the flashlight and connect charging cable to the USB C “IN” socket.
While flashlight is charging, the green LED battery level indicator lights will illuminate and flash, showing battery level.
Once flashlight has reached full charge, the LED battery level indicator will illuminate all 5 lights on solid green.
Once flashlight is fully charged, disconnect the USB-C cable and replace the rubber cover.

For ideal battery performance Astro Night recommend recharging the NML-C every few months while not in use or in storage.

Recharging times will vary depending on your charging ports output performance.
