A modern intelligent headlamp designed to assist astronomers and night sky photographers with a low powered red light output and hand motion sensing on / off control.

Offering three convenient red light output levels and a while spot light or flood light feature with two brightness levels, activated separately from the red light.

With the intelligent switch control, there is no chance you will accidentally flash a white light again, preserving your night vision.

The V-340 headlamp also includes an upgraded high capacity 2000mAh lithium battery, allowing a long duration of up to 24 hours plus operation and modern fast USB-C recharging.

 V340 is inspired from the star V340 Sagittae, a red super giant from the Sagitta constellation, also known as the “Arrow” and represents Heracles’ arrow in Greek mythology. V340 Sagittae is approximately 215 times bigger than our sun.

Locate and remove the rubber charging port cover on the base of the headlamp.
Connect the USB-C charging cable.
While headlamp is charging, the power button LED indicator light will illuminate red.
Once headlamp has reached full charge, the LED indicator will turn blue.
Once headlamp is fully charged, disconnect the USB-C cable and replace the rubber cover.

For ideal battery performance Astro Night recommend recharging the V-340 every few months while not in use or in storage.

Recharging times will vary depending on your charging ports output performance.
